Stoke and West Bromwich – two good winners today

Its been a while since last time but I will try to update this blogg / site more often in the future. Last time I had some really good results in my predictions and I hope for the same today and tomorrow.

Last week was a FA-cup weekend, but this weekend its time for Premier League again and I like PL way more then the FA-cup. It´s somehow more logic and more kind to gamblers. The big game for this weekend is played tomorrow at Anfield Road where Liverpool will welcome Chelsea for a great game. It will be decided wich of these two teams will join Manchester United for the race for the gold.

I have sieved out my best picks from todays (Saturdays) games and and here they follows:

Stoke – Manchester City – Stoke to win @ 3.25

Stoke might not have the best form at the moment, but i still believe that they have played some reall good games latley thought the havn´t picked up that many points. And another fact that can be used for their advantage is that they have faced lot of difficult oppontents. For an example they met Liverpool at home in their last home game and played 0-0. And Stoke was atleast as good as Liverpool in that game.

In their game after the draw against Liverpool they went to Stamford Bridge to play away against Chelsea. And stoke was close to a huge sensation after leading with 1 to 0 with only 1 minute left to play of the ordinarie time. Tragicly (for Stoke) Chelsea scored twice in, last goal late into injury time, and won with 2 – 1. But what I want to say is that even though Stoke have had som difficult games latley they have played well.

Then there is this statistical fact that Stoke are pretty strong home at Britannia Stadium where they almost have won every other game. Their opponent Manchester City are at the same time pretty weak on the road and have lost about half of their games away.

I accept that City are favourite in this game, but I dont think the diffrent between this to teams are that big that the oddsdiffrens is saying. Specially not here at Britannia Stadium. So my first pick for today is Stoke to win at home against Manchester City, 3.25 is an okey odds for that.

Hull – West Bromwich – West Bromwich to win @ 3.40

Both this teams are newcomers in the Barcleys Premier League since they both played in the Championchip last year.

My thoughts is that West Bromwich are way better then their position in the league table (last) and that they have played some pretty good games but that they have had a lot of unluck in many of these games early in the autumn. If they would have got all the points that they deserved (according to me) they would be far away from the last position in the table.

Hull chocked every one in the beginning of this years Premier League so well oppontents as supporters, experts and so on. Most of their points was taken in their away-games and my theory is that they could play more relaxed when they played away, but as soon as the chocking wins came so did even the pressure from their home supporters and it was probably inhibitated them.

Hull had an awsome Autumn was fighting for the top positions untill the fall came and now they are about the middle of the table. I still think that Hull will dropp more in the table and should concentrate on the teams wich are comming from behind because if they can stay out of relegation they have made more then anyone could wish.

When Hull and West Brom Albions met back in Autumn at Birmingham Hull took a shocking overwhelming 0 – 3 win. But the truth is that West Bromwich was atleast as good as Hull in that game. However this is a new game with diffrent prerequisites and my theory is that West Bromwich will advance in the table this second half of Premier League and Hull will fall down.

I personaly think that West Bromwich is the better team then Hull and the value in the odds is on away win. I pick West Brom as my second play of today and hope they take revenge for the loose back in oktober.
