Serbia and Ghana Preliminary Rosters for the World Cup

The preliminary rosters have now been released disclosing the thirty individuals that have been chosen for all 32 World Cup teams.  Of these thirty men, only 23 of them will advance and become part of the World Cup team for each country.  The final rosters for the World Cup teams will be announced June 1.

Come June 11, the teams start competing for the World Cup title in South Africa.  On June 13, Serbia and Ghana will compete against each other.  The following are both the team’s preliminary 30-man rosters.

Serbia goalkeepers are Andjelko Djuricic from Leiria, Bojan Isailovic from Cukaricki Belgrade, Zeljko Brkic from Vojvodina and Vladimir Stojkovic from Wigan.

Forwards are Dejan Lekic from Red Star Belgrade, Dragan Mrdja from Vojvodina, Danko Lazovic from Zenit St. Petersburg, Marko Pantelic from Ajax and Nikola Zigic from Valencia.

Defenders for Serbia are Aleksandar Kolarov from Lazio, Ivan Obradovic from Zaragoza, Aleksandar Lukovic from Udinese, Neven Subotic from Borussia Dortmund, Nemanja Vidic from Manchester United, Antonio Rukavina from 1860 Munich and Branislav Ivanovic from Chelsea.

Serbia midfielders include Radosav Petrovic from Partizan Belgrade, Nemanja Matic from Chelsea, Gojko Kacar from Hertha Berlin, Miralem Sulejmani from Ajax, Zoran Tosic from FC Cologne, Zdravko Kuzmanovic from Stuttgart, Milos Ninkovic from Dynamo Kiev, Milan Jovanovic from Standard Liege, Miloss Krasic from CSKA Moscow, Nenad Milijas from Wolverhampton Wanderers and Dejan Stankovic from Inter Milan.

For Ghana’s roster…

We have goalkeepers as Stephen Adams from Aduana Stars, Stephen Aholu from Heart of Lions, Daniel Agyei from Liberty Professional and Richard Kingson from Wigan.

Forwards for Ghana include Matthew Amoah from NAC Breda, Dominic Adiyiah from AC Milan, Asamoah Gyan from Rennes and Prince Tagoe from Hoffenheim.

Defenders for Ghana are Eric Addo from Roda JC, Jonathan Mensah from Granada, John Pantsil from Fulham, Isaac Vorsah from Hoffenheim, Rahim Ayew from Zamalek, John Mensah from Sunderland, Lee Addy from Bechem Chelsea, Hans Adu Sarpei from Bayer Leverkusen and Samuel Inkoom from FC Basel.

Ghana midfielders are Kevin-Prince Boateng from Portsmouth, Laryea Kingston from Hearts, Bernard Kumordzie from Panionios, Derek Boateng from Getafe, Quincy Owusu Abeyie from Al Sadd, Sulley Muntari from Inter Milan, Haminu Draman from Lokomotiv Moscow, Anthony Annan from Rosenborg, Stephen Appiah from Bologna, Agyemang Badu from Udinese, Kwadwo Asamoah from Udinese, Michael Essien from Chelsea and Dede Ayew from Arles-Avignon.
