My bettingtips, bwin-odds from Premier League
-
There is lots of interesting sports and betting going on right now. The Olympic Games is about to coming to its end and the Champions League knockout stage has just began. Moreover, the Premier League is in a very important stage as well since we still have a battle in the top, for the Champions League qualification round and in the bottom to avoid relegation.
In this text, I will focus on the matches that are played on Saturday and give you my best betting tips from these matches:
Here are all the matches and odds for Saturday’s games, the odds is picked from bwin sportsbetting odds
Chelsea vs. Manchester City, odds: 1 1.42 draw 4.30 away 6.50
Birmingham City vs. Wigan Athletic, odds: 1 1.90 draw 3.30 2 3.95
Bolton Wanderers vs. Wolverhampton Wanderers, odds: 1 1.90 draw 3.30 2 3.95
Burnley vs. Portsmouth, odds: 1 1.90 draw 3.35 2 3.90
Stoke City vs. Arsenal, odds: 1 5.25 draw 3.50 2 1.65
As you can see on the odds from bwin, they think that this is a pretty tough Saturday to predict the outcome as a better. Most of the matches are pretty even both compared to the odds and the league standings as well. I will try to give you my best tips though and hope for a winning Saturday:
Birmingham City vs. Wigan Athletic, bettingtips: home win @ 1.90 in odds
I start my bettingtips with a home win for Birmingham against Wigan at home. Birmingham has done a fantastic season so far, and especially if you keep in mind that they came up to Premier League just before this season. Home at St. Andrews they have a nice record and often play very good football with big confidence as well.
Last week I put my bet against Birmingham against Fulham because I thought that Birmingham’s form was going down. And Birmingham lost that game against Fulham as well with 2 – 1, but when I saw that game it was an even game and Birmingham stood up very well.
Therefore, even if Birmingham has 3 lost in their last five games (after a long streak without loosing) I didn’t see any sings of a new negative streak coming now.
I mentioned that Birmingham plays well home at St. Andrews, and that is even a fact if you look to the statistics over the teams home / away stats. Birmingham City has played thirteen games at home and has 6 wins, five draws and only two loss. Since they are playing against a team with way worse away stats I think that the chances that this game ends with a home win is big, bigger then the 52 % that the odds is valued to.
Wigan has also played thirteen games away from JJB and has whole 8 losses in those 13 games (two wins and three draws as well).
Burnley vs. Portsmouth, bettingtips: home win @ 1.90 in odds
I have given Portsmouth a few bets lately since I think that they have been playing better then their poor league standing. However, after their last loss against Stoke at home I give them no more chance to stay in Premier League next year.
Portsmouth started that game good as well and had the lead after first half, 1 – 0. However, in the second half they looked eagerly and unsure. Stoke got the equalizer and then got a man shown out with about 20 – 25 min left to play. When a team in Pompay’s situation get that chance to take three invaluable points against a team like Stoke and doesn’t make it I think that Portsmouth wont be able to avoid relegation this season.
Burnley on the other hand has made a great season so far compared to the pre conditions. Non of the experts gave Burnley any chances to avoid relegation this year, but they have shown a great morality and plays well home at Turf more. And that’s their chance to avoid relegation this year since Burnley is the worst team on Premier League out side their own home ground.
Burnley has only taken one single point out side of Turf more and since they still only are standing one point under the relegation mark you can figure out that Burnley is a strong home team. They have six wins, four draws and only two losses in their 12 games home at Turf more, and that’s way better then any of us (besides their own fans maybe) had expected.
Against a Portsmouth without any confidence at all and with only one win and two draws in 13 matches away, I feel that Burnley has great chances to increase their position today by taking three points here. I put a bet on Burnley today and recommend you to do the same since I find the odds @ 1.90 on Burnley very interesting.
Chelsea vs. Manchester City, bettingtips: over 2,5 goals, odds 1.80
In this game I don’t put any bet on 1-x-2 but instead on over/under 2,5 goals, and I think that this game will end in at least three goals, maybe even more. For the bet, I need three goals or more for a win.
Both this sides are strong when it comes to producing many goals forward and both these teams have strong offence with an offensive midfield. In addition, I just got the information that Chelsea’s first goalie, Peter Cech, is probably missing this game and that Hilario will take is place. That means that City’s chances to score goals increases a lot.
So I end my Saturday betting-day with a bet on over 2,5 goals in Chelsea vs. Manchester City.
Good luck with your premier-league-betting
