Kenny Dalglish wished to praise his football players even after the game on Saturday. However, the manager just tried to be honest as possible. His football players tried to perform well in the game also against Bolton Wanderers. However, they also failed. Dalglish only wanted to see them also deliver in the game.
Dalglish said also as revealed by the reports: “I think what was said had to be said. It’s a difficult thing to do but I think it was an honest thing to do as well. At the end of the day I don’t think anyone can object to the fact that we never played anything like we’re capable of playing. I don’t think anybody can hide behind a performance like we had on Saturday and I don’t think anyone would try to do that.”
Dalglish also tried to help his football players be prepared. The manager wanted to see them perform well even also challenging. However, they just failed. Supporters also wanted to see them and even Liverpool deliver. However, Dalglish just tried to also accept what happened. He would need to also help his football players be prepared also for other games. They would need to perform well in other games. He would need to also have the focus. His football players and even the football club would need to deliver in other games. His football players may fail again. The football club may also fail. The manager may also need to somehow criticize them again. However, his football players and even the football club may also just succeed.
Dalglish, in addition, said: “In the past we’ve rightly praised them when they’ve deserved it, we’ve given them plaudits when we’ve done well and we’ve congratulated them for the way they’ve gone about their work. We have to be honest in our appraisal when we’ve been bad as well.”
